Hi there, and this is a special day for me. As you read this, I am in a park, preparing for my daughter’s first birthday. We have ordered and rented everything to make this beautiful event happen in the middle of a gorgeous park in our neighboring city, Meerhoven. My parents are here with me, helping to meticulously design the setting for what will be one of the most memorable days of our lives.
Weekly Inventory Check
The 14th of July will be a day I remember forever because it’s my daughter’s birthday, and it’s also significant for you all as it marks the halfway point of the month. This means it’s time for our regular reflection—understanding how the month has gone, evaluating our progress, identifying areas for improvement, and refining our to-do lists. This continuous cycle of review and revision is essential for effective decision-making and productivity.
Practical Insights from Vasl
In this week’s newsletter, I want to take a more practical approach. Usually, we explore a range of topics from ideas and theories to stories and musings. However, after receiving a lot of engagement and questions about my work life, I decided to share a sneak peek into my job search process and client gathering strategies.
Having worked in the data field for almost eight years as a contractor, I often find myself giving interviews and securing new projects. This week’s podcast is dedicated to providing insights into this process. I’ll share my thought process, areas where I believe my expertise lies, and tips on improving your chances of getting a callback.
One key area I focus on is leveraging the power of storytelling to make a lasting impression on interviewers. I discuss how to position yourself effectively and captivate your audience. I hope you find this episode valuable and practical. Let me know your thoughts and if you’d like more content like this in the future.
